Man Accused Of Stealing Property, Cars From GreenburghResidential Facility A 30-year-old Connecticut man faces several charges after allegedly stealing from an elderly residential facility in New York, police said.  New London County resident David Durlach of Waterford, age 30, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 1 following a long-term investigation into burglaries at a Westchester County elderly residential facility located in Greenburgh. The new round of closures means there will be roughly 660 Sears and Kmart stores still open. Sears, once the world's largest retailer, has now officially filed for bankruptcy, while announcing plans to close another 142 unprofitable Sears and Kmart stores, including several in the area. The Sears closures include two in the Hudson Valley: at 75 West Route 59 in Nanuet and at 600 Lee Boulevard in Yorktown. Milford resident Laura Ramos, an ex-special education teacher at Central High School in Bridgeport, had been out on $50,000 bond as she awaits trial following her arrest in June last year.  On June 22, she was pulled over on in Waterford for distracted driving.
