A 41-year-old woman was slapped with drunk driving charges after driving the wrong way on I-84 throughout two counties in the Hudson Valley, striking a police cruiser in the process, authorities said. The woman's arrest stemmed from an incident in Putnam County on Saturday, Nov. 11 around 1:45 a.m., when a vehicle was reported to be traveling east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Kent. Man Charged With Attempted Murder Outside Hudson Valley Restaurant
A suspect has been charged after the stabbing of a 27-year-old man outside a Hudson Valley restaurant. On Sunday, Oct. 16, in Putnam County at approximately 4 a.m. sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the La Patrona Mexican Restaurant at 182 Route 22 in Southeast for a dispute in progress with a knife involved. Arriving Deputies found a large crowd outside the restaurant and quickly located the victim, a 27-year-old man, who had been stabbed in the neck and stomach area and began first-aid. Man Wanted For Possessing 40 Fraudulent Credit Cards In Area
New York State Police investigators in the Hudson Valley have issued an alert for a wanted man who was busted with dozens of fraudulent credit cards late last year. Tyrone Howard, 39, is wanted by New York State Police Troop K in Brewster following his arrest in September for criminal possession of a forged instrument when he was caught with 40 illegal credit cards. A driver stopped on the middle of Route 6 in Putnam County was allegedly intoxicated when he was busted by members of the Sheriff’s Office, officials said. Putnam County Sheriff Deputy Matthew Shelters was on patrol shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 when he spotted a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road on Route 6 in Southeast, blocking the southbound lane of traffic.
