Man Hits Victim In Head With Bottle In Yorktown Bar Assault, Police Say A man allegedly attacked another with a glass bottle during an altercation at a bar that left his victim with physical injury in Yorktown. Detectives from the Yorktown Police Department received a call earlier this month asking to investigate an alleged assault that took place at Murphy’s on Kear Street. Police said that the investigation determined that Yorktown resident Kevin Velasquez, 28, allegedly struck his victim in the head with a glass bottle, leaving him with a physical injury that required treatment.
