Westchester Man Sentenced For Shooting 4-Year-Old Girl In Leg
A Westchester man is going to spend more than a decade behind bars following his sentencing for misfiring his gun, missing his intended target, and striking a 4-year-old girl in the leg while he was a teenager. Yonkers resident Floyd Bruce, now 21, was sentenced in Westchester County Court to 15 years in prison following his guilty plea last year. Bruce pleaded guilty on June 8 last year to felony counts of robbery, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He had faced up to 25 years for his conviction. 25-Year-Old Sentenced For Armed Robbery Of Two Men In Westchester
A 24-year-old man from Westchester is heading to prison after being found guilty for his role in an armed robbery with his teenage cohort. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Thursday that Yonkers resident Lamont McLean has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for the armed robbery of two men. At approximately 4:40 p.m. on July 26, 2016, McLean and Floyd Bruce, 19, were on Palisade Avenue in Yonkers after they approached two men in a parked car while armed with handguns. A Westchester County man is due to be sentenced this week for his role in the shooting of a 4-year-old girl in Yonkers in 2016. Floyd Bruce, 20, is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, May 31 after pleading guilty to felony charges of first-degree robbery, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon last year.
