Westchester County Executive Proposes Gas Tax Cap, Free Bee-Line Buses Westchester County Executive George Latimer is pushing to make transportation cheaper and more accessible for area residents. During his latest briefing, Latimer announced that he is directing the county’s Bee-Line bus service to suspend fares for riders during the summer until a later date. The free rides are expected to begin on Wednesday, June 1.
