15 Displaced As Fire Breaks Out At Three-Story, Multi-Family House In Westchester Fifteen residents have been displaced after a two-alarm fire sparked in a multi-family home on Christmas night. Firefighters were dispatched to a three-story Locust Hill Avenue home shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, when a fire broke out in the walls and ceilings of all three floors, Yonkers Deputy Chief Daniel Flynn said. Crews were on scene within two minutes, Flynn noted. The fire was knocked down and under control by 11:27 p.m. According to Flynn, four firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze. Firefighter Injured In Two-Alarm Blaze That Damages Row Of Stores In Westchester A two-alarm fire damaged a row of stores in a commercial building in Yonkers that also slightly injured a firefighter. The blaze broke around 10:58 p.m. Tuesday in a cigar and vape store at 583 Central Park Ave., said Yonkers Fire Department Deputy Chief Daniel P. Flynn.
