CVS Sets Up Mobile Pharmacy In Westchester Following Fire CVS is setting up a mobile pharmacy in Larchmont after a fire tore through the Ferndale Shopping Center, damaging the store late last year. A two-alarm fire broke out at Excelsior Cleaners on Boston Post Road in Larchmont at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The fire quickly spread through the shopping center, damaging several adjoining buildings, including a CVS, which suffered flood damage. In response, CVS announced it will be opening up a fully-staffed, mobile pharmacy in front of the store at 1310 Boston Post Road in Larchmont. The pharmacy is expected to be open from 8 a.m. …

Two-Alarm Fire Causes Shopping Center Evacuation In Westchester A shopping center had to be evacuated after a carpet cleaning business caught fire, sending black smoke into the surrounding stores and closing a major roadway. The fire at the Excelsior Cleaners at 1320 W Boston Post Road in the Ferndale Shopping Center, began around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, said the Town of Mamaroneck Police. At least 40 firefighters from local departments were on hand helping battle the flames that were reportedly contained to the one building.
