A 33-year-old man from Northern Westchester faces numerous charges after allegedly being caught with cocaine and stolen merchandise from a Lowe's store, as well as not showing up to his court appearance, police said. The man, identified as David Herbin of Peekskill, was originally arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 15 after he was pulled over by police in Yorktown for traffic violations. Homeless Man Charged After Broad-Daylight Stabbing In Westchester
A 55-year-old man is facing an assault charge after police said he attacked another man with a knife in Westchester County. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 61 Riverdale Ave. in Yonkers at about 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, the Yonkers Police Department said. Police located a 63-year-old Yonkers man who had suffered a minor laceration to his forearm and identified the suspect as Samuel Areizaga, who is homeless, according to police. A woman from Westchester County was arrested for allegedly possessing PCP after police in Fairfield County received a report of her banging on a car door in a parking garage. Kelli Bonnet, age 29, of White Plains, was arrested by Greenwich Police on Tuesday, July 6, after officers responded to Greenwich Plaza in the underground lot for a report of a woman "banging" on a car door. An alert has been issued by New York State Police in Brewster for a wanted man known to frequent Fairfield County who allegedly stole from a friend's home in the area home that he was housesitting. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mark Zieman, who is wanted by State Police and the Town of Southeast Court following his arrest in 2017. A 34-year-old man was nabbed for assault after allegedly punching a woman in the head in Northern Westchester. Richard Montero, of Yorktown, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 24, after responding to a domestic call around 2:08 a.m., said Yorktown Police. A man who made a deal with police to turn himself in if a wanted poster received 15,000 “likes” on Facebook is still on the run, police in Connecticut said. New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a wanted woman on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child and failing to appear in the City of Peekskill Court to respond to the charge. Wanted Westchester Man Arrested After Traffic Stop
A wanted Westchester County man was scooped up during a traffic stop by the Putnam County Sheriff Office. Kevin A. Valenzuela, 29, of Yorktown Heights, was stopped around 2 a.m. Saturday, April 14, by Deputy Sheriff Ronald Yeager after he observed the vehicle, which he knew the owner was wanted while patrolling the Lake Peekskill area of Putnam Valley.
