Duo Caught After Teen Tried Using Counterfeit Cash At Tarrytown Store A 24-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger were apprehended following a police chase after the teen allegedly attempted to use counterfeit currency at a store in Westchester. Trio Behind Bars After Being Accused Of Using Bogus Bills In Westchester Three men are behind bars after being charged with using counterfeit currency at a gas station in Northern Westchester. An investigation by state police found the three used fake $100 and $50 dollar bills to purchase small items at Coco Farms Shell Gas Station on Route 22 in North Salem, according to state police. The three then received legitimate currency in change for the fraudulent transaction, police said.
