New Barnes & Noble Coming To Westchester: Here's Where Iconic bookstore chain Barnes & Noble will soon open a new location in Northern Westchester. Covid-19: New Poll Reveals Outlook On Economy From Chambers Of Commerce Leaders Nationwide Although 90 percent of Chamber of Commerce executives said that business conditions in their municipalities have worsened, only 55 percent expect improvement before the end of 2021, according to a new poll by the Siena College Research Institute. Road Closures Scheduled During Yorktown Festival, Street Fair There’s going to be dancing in the streets in Yorktown over the weekend, leading to road closures in the area as the community celebrates the 10th annual Chamber of Commerce Festival and Street Fair. Yorktown Police Chief Robert Noble said that in an abundance of caution and to keep parade participants and spectators safe there will be road closures. From 7 a.m. too 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, Commerce Street will be closed between CVS Plaza and Hanover Street. Veterans Road will also be closed between Commerce Street and Maple Hill Street.
