A carbon monoxide scare led to the evacuation of several townhomes in Northern Westchester. First responders from the Chappaqua Fire Department responded to Chappaqua Crossing off Bedford Road shortly before 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, when a transformer exploded, causing high levels of carbon monoxide. Pleasantville's Christopher R. Quimby Dies At 24
Christopher Rollhaus Quimby died peacefully on Thursday, April 11 following a brief illness. He was 24. He was born in Mount Kisco on Oct. 7, 1994 to Gordon R. and Leslie M. Quimby. He was a medically fragile special needs young man with a heart of love who touched the lives of countless individuals, according to his obituary. He graduated from Pines Bridge BOCES School in Yorktown in 2016 and attended Ability Beyond NY Day Program at Chappaqua Crossing since his graduation. Officials are hitting the brakes on the much-anticipated grand opening of Whole Foods at Chappaqua Crossing.
