Gas Prices Rise For Sixth Straight Week There is no relief in sight for drivers’ wallets at the pump, as gas prices continue to rise week-to-week as the price of crude oil fluctuates overseas. For the sixth straight week, gas prices have risen, up to an average of $2.61 per gallon, up from $2.49 a month ago and $2.26 a year ago. The average rose three cents since last week.
