The Castle On Post To Celebrate Official Opening in Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield's new restaurant, The Castle on Post, will hold its official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Jan. 26.  The restaurant's owners are Patrick Clyne, former owner of Black Rock Castle, and Kevin O’Halloran. Clyne moved to the United States from Leitrim, Ireland in 1984 and O'Halloran moved from Dublin, Ireland in 1997. Both eventually settled down in Fairfield to raise their families.  Both have managed restaurant bars for a number of years, and most recently, Clyne was the bar manager at the popular Gates Restaurant in New Canaan, which closed in April 2015. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut announced. The first six months of Scott Benincasa's probation will be served as home confinement. Blood Donations Urgently Needed By The Red Cross PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The American Red Cross asks blood donors, especially those with O, AB, B negative and A negative, to donate blood in Pleasantville on Feb. 2 and 3.  Blood donations are needed now and throughout the winter to maintain a sufficient blood supply for patients in need.  Heather Von Glahn, 8-year-old daughter’s leukemia diagnosis, inspired her to make the commitment to give blood regularly.  “I’ve seen blood save her life at least 10 times,” said Von Glahn. “When friends and family ask what they can do for my daughter, I tell them to donate blood.
