YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Joseph J. Falcone, of Yorktown Heights and formerly of Yonkers, died on July 1. He was 90
Falcone was born on Dec. 31, 1924, in Mount Vernon to Francesco Falcone and Molly Garafano.
He served in the Army during World War II, and became a supervisor at Phelps Dodge Cable Company upon his return home.
He is survived by three children, Joseph and his wife Debbie, Anthony and his wife Lori, and Richard Falcone, six grandchildren and three siblings, Frances Trizano Maher, Angie Francese, and Patsy Falcone, all of Florida.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Marilyn De Young, of White Plains, died on Thursday, July 2. She was 88.
She is survived by her husband, Norman, two sons, Lawrence and his wife, Linda, and Steven and his wife, Mary, and grandchildren Laura, Sarah, Matthew and Michele.
A graveside service will be held at the Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Valhalla on Sunday at 1 p.m.

OSSINING, N.Y. – Carmela Badia, of Ossining, died on Tuesday, June 30. She was 87.
Badia was born on Sept. 25, 1927, in Sassinoro, Italy to Michele and Angela Mastrantuono.
She emigrated to New York in 1966 and working as a seamstress and a cook.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michele, and a brother, Pasquale.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Angela and Christopher Millman, sisters and brothers Antonia Palombo, John Mastrantuono, Nicola Mastrantuono and Maria Manocchio.

John Guy Carolin, 99, Of Rye
RYE, N.Y. – John Guy Carolin, of Rye, died Tuesday, June 30. He was 99.
Carolin was born Oct. 1, 1915, in New York City to Louis Guy and Kathryn Reid Carolin, growing up in Manhattan and Amityville.
He graduated from Fordham University. He served in North Africa and Europe in World War II and was awarded the Legion of Merit. After he returned home, he managed the B. Altman & Co. store in White Plains for more than 35 years.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Clara Spadaro, of White Plains, died on July 1. She was 94.
Spadaro was born on Nov. 13, 1920, in Calabria, Italy to Frank and Prudence Tino.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Henry J. Arsenault, formerly of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, July 1, at Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury, Conn. He was 83.
Arsenault was born in Rumford, Maine, to Aristole and Mina Arsenault, retiring from Exide Battery in Fairfield.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anna (Kostka) Arsenault.

OSSINING, N.Y. – James C. Schlichtman, a longtime resident of Ossining, died on Wednesday, July 1. He was 95.
Schlichtman was born on Sept. 28, 1919, to James and Ann (nee Brennen) Schlichtman.
