An unidentified woman was struck by a train on the tracks at the Tarrytown station late Tuesday morning.
According to Metro-North spokesperson Nancy Gamerman, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an unauthorized woman on the tracks at the station was struck by a southbound train. She was transported alive and conscious to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment.
MTA Police is currently investigating the incident, but said it is not believed any criminality was involved.
Tarrytown emergency personnel could not immediately be reached for comment on Tuesday.
