The National Weather Service says it's most likely that any rain falling Friday will dry up through the afternoon, leading to slightly-above-normal temperatures before a cold front moves through the area.

The rest of the weekend should include more typical spring weather, meteorologists say.

Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 58. The National Weather Service predicts a 50 percent chance of rain, mostly before 1 p.m. Winds should pick up in the afternoon and increase to as much as 29 mph overnight.

Saturday will be sunny and windy, with a high near 52.

A 20 percent chance of rain is forecast for Sunday afternoon, with partly sunny skies and a high near 57 degrees.
