Dog Ordered To Be Temporarily Confined After Biting Cleaning Lady In Westchester

A dog will be confined to its home for several days after biting a woman providing cleaning services at a home in Westchester.

A woman reported to police in Scarsdale on Thursday, May 9 that she had been bitten while cleaning the master bedroom of the residence on Willow Lane. She suffered a minor injury to her left wrist, was treated by a local doctor but did not require any additional medical assistance.

A “report of an animal bite card” was filled out for the Department of Health and the injury was photographed and documented. The dog, a 6-year-old Labradoodle was identified and its owner was instructed to confine the dog for 10 days, which is public health law.
