Tarrytown chef Carl Van Dekker, from The Village Dog, is squaring off against Irvington chef Eric Korn, of Good-Life Gourmet, on Wednesday and Thursday in the final round of the Golden Knives Challenge.

During last week's semi-finals, Van Dekker beat out Peekskill Brewery's Sean Corcoran while Korn championed Chutney Masala's Navjot Arora. The two chefs will compete in a two-night finale this week.

The three-week competition pits local chefs against one another in a pop-up restaurant at the Lodge of Hudson Harbor, which has been transformed into a dining room. Customers vote on each chef's dish, picking a winner of the two. The winner of the Golden Knives Challenge will earn a monetary prize and a trophy.

Tickets are $50 and available by calling 914-747-0519 or emailing events@cappacrucy.com.
