Teen Duo Nabbed For Series Of Burglaries At Long Island Stores A pair of teenagers allegedly burglarized a series of smoke shops on Long Island, targeting nicotine and CBD-based products, police said. Uzair Khan, 18, of East Meadow, and Matthew Hartenstein, 19, of Brooklyn, allegedly broke into the E-Smoke Shop on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, Nassau County Police said. Police: Man Who Threw Brick Through LI Shop Linked To Six Other Burglaries A 45-year-old man who was apprehended after throwing a brick through the glass doors of a Long Island business has now been charged in connection to six other burglaries, Nassau County Police said.
