Suffolk Cop Critically Injured By Drunk Driver To Be Released From Hospital
A Long Island police officer who was critically injured by an alleged drunk driver will be released from the hospital following a month-long stay. Timothy Thrane of the Suffolk County PD was directing traffic at the intersection of William Floyd Parkway and Yaphank Woods Blvd., on Wednesday, Nov. 3 when a drunk driver struck the rear of a parked GMC Yukon causing that vehicle to strike Thrane. ID Released For Suffolk Cop Injured After Being Struck By Drunk Driver
The identity has been released of a police officer who was seriously injured in a crash involving an allegedly intoxicated driver at a Long Island intersection. The incident happened around midnight Wednesday, Nov. 3, in Yaphank.
