Woman Charged With DWI After Driving Into Oncoming Traffic In Commack, Police Say A woman is accused of driving while intoxicated after police said she drove her vehicle into oncoming traffic on Long Island. Officers responded to a report of a Ford Expedition traveling east in the westbound lanes of Jericho Turnpike in Commack at 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. An officer drove up behind the Ford with lights and siren activated, but the driver did not pull over, SCPD said.
