Victim Left Wheelchair-Bound After Facebook Scam By Wheatley Heights 23-Year-Old, DA Says A Long Island man is facing a host of charges in connection with an alleged Facebook Marketplace scam that left the victim confined to a wheelchair. Jordan Behling, age 23, of Wheatley Heights, was arraigned on assault and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Jan. 9. According to prosecutors, the victim agreed to meet Behling on Friday, June 16, 2023 to purchase a PlayStation 5 gaming console that Behling had listed on Facebook Marketplace. Dog Stolen During Suffolk County Home Burglary Has Been Located A dog who was stolen during a Long Island home burglary has been located more than 40 miles away from the scene of the crime. A person or people entered a home in Huntington, located on Robin Lane between approximately 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, and stole the French Bulldog and a Sony PlayStation 5, Suffolk County Police said. The French Bulldog, 4-year-old Stella, was located Saturday, Nov. 27 on Rhododendron Drive in Center Moriches.  She has been returned to her owners.  The investigation into the burglary is continuing. Police Search For Man Accused Of Using Stolen Credit Card At Suffolk County Store Authorities are asking the public for help as they search for a man accused of using a stolen credit card at a Long Island store. At about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, a man reported that his credit card was stolen while at a 7-Eleven, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers. The 7-Eleven is located at 1671 Route 112 in Coram. Crime Stoppers said the credit card was later used at a number of locations, including at a GameStop, located at 1973 Middle Country Road in Centereach, at about 8:50 p.m. A man used the card to buy a PlayStation 5 remote control and a Nintendo Switch, auth…
