Man Killed After SUV Crashes Off Roadway In Suffolk Police are investigating a crash that killed a Long Island man. It happened around 12:10 p.m. Friday, March 11 in Patchogue. The man was driving a 2010 Honda CR-V westbound on Sunrise Highway Service Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a fence, located at 200 Chestnut Ave., before stopping in a driveway on Sinn Street, Suffolk County Police said. IDs Released For Mother Killed, Daughter Burned In Patchogue House Fire A woman is dead and her daughter injured after a fire broke out at a home on Long Island. Crews from the Patchogue Fire Department responded to an Ohls Street home at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Friday, June 14, where a blaze broke out, officials said. Elisa Doughty, 65, was trapped inside the home. She died from injuries suffered during the fire and was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
