One Killed, Three Injured After Car Rear-Ends SUV In East Patchogue, Police Say
One person was killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle crash in East Patchogue. The crash occurred when a stopped 2012 Infinity Q56 on South Country Road facing westbound at the intersection of North Dunton Avenue was rear-ended by a 2007 Hyundai Elantra traveling westbound at approximately 6:45 p.m. Saturday, June 23, Suffolk County Police said. The driver of the Hyundai, a 62-year-old East Patchogue man, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead.
