26-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Jeep Overturns In Manorville Police are investigating after a Long Island man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash. It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 in Manorville. A 26-year-old was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee northbound on Barnes Road near Moriches-Middle Island Road when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway.  The vehicle then struck a fire hydrant and overturned. Suffolk County Teen Critically Injured In Head-On Crash A teenager suffered critical injuries in a head-on crash overnight on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened in Manorville at around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25. Juan Carlos Osorio Tejada, age 34, of Rocky Point, was driving a 2016 BMW southbound on Moriches-Middle Island Road, just north of Sunrise Highway (Route 27), Suffolk County Police said.  The BMW then crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into a 2021 Honda Civic, according to police.
