State Police Issue Alert For Wanted Long Island Man State Police are searching for a Long Island man who was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs in March of 2015.  A warrant was issued for Michael Leahy's arrest in October of 2017, according to State Police in East Meadow. Alert Issued For Wanted Long Island Man A man who failed to appear in court following his arrest for driving while his ability was impaired by drugs on Long Island is wanted by New York State Police. Investigators from East Meadow issued an alert for Michael Leahy, 37, who is wanted by New York State Police and Nassau County Court after he was arrested for DWAI by drugs on March 31, 2015. Leahy later failed to appear in court and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest on Oct. 23, 2017.
