LI Restaurant Burglary Suspect Caught After Fleeing On Bicycle With Flat Tire, Police Say A would-be burglar didn’t make it far after allegedly attempting to rob a Long Island restaurant then fleeing the scene on a bicycle with a flat tire, police said. Nassau County Police officers were dispatched to Matteo’s of Roslyn shortly before 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15 in Roslyn Heights, where there was a report of a burglary in progress, police said.
