Long Island Woman Charged For Hit-Run Crash That Seriously Injured 11-Year-Old
A woman has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured an 11-year-old on Long Island. The boy was riding his scooter in Massapequa at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 on Eastgate Road when he was struck by a woman driving an older model two-door red pickup truck, according to Nassau County Police. Police said that the driver then fled the scene and was last seen traveling northbound on Eastgate Road.
