19: Long Island HS Football Team Forfeits Playoff Game After Coach, Players Test Positive
The playoffs came to an abrupt end for one Long Island high school football team that had to forfeit its opening postseason game due to COVID-19 concerns. In Nassau County, COVID-19 took out Island Trees High school before they could face top-seeded Seaford under the lights on Friday night after a coach and some players tested positive for the virus. It is unclear how many student-athletes tested positive for COVID-19.
