John Mann, age 20, of Centereach, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in Suffolk County Court on Friday, March 17, in the death of 16-year-old Henry Hernandez. Hernandez’ skeletal remains were found wrapped in plastic bags on the property of Mann’s neighbor in March 2020, according to prosecutors. Man Charged With Murder Years After Remains Of 16-Year-Old Found In Centereach A 19-year-old man is accused of murdering a teenager whose remains were found on Long Island about a year after his death.  John Mann Jr. was arrested on Friday, June 10, and charged with second-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Henry Hernandez, of Riverhead, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
