Teenage Surfer Bitten By Shark In Brand-New Fire Island Incident A teenage surfer was bit by a shark on Long Island, the latest of six bites in the past three weeks. A total of 25 deer were culled with more than 500 pounds of venison donated to Island Harvest, a food bank in Hauppauge.
