A Long Island man has been charged for reportedly selling heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, and fentanyl, leading to at least one overdose death.
The indictment against Ryan Mueller of Lynbrook was announced by the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of New York on Thursday, April 4.
Over the last few years, Mueller, age 32, is accused of conspiring with several other unnamed people to distribute controlled substances like heroin and cocaine.
According to the USAO, Mueller’s conspiring is related to the December 2022 death of a 49-year-old victim.

A Long Island couple has been criminally charged after a 14-month-old boy died from a suspected fentanyl and cocaine overdose.
Wilkens Adonis and Daryllee Leibrock, both age 38, of Holbrook, were arraigned on dozens of drug and weapons charges in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Emergency crews were called to the couple’s Holbrook home on Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, for an unresponsive child. When they arrived, police found Adonis, Leibrock and their toddler son, Joseph, in the couple’s bedroom.

Three alleged drug dealers were taken into custody after police discovered they were behind a string of fentanyl and cocaine sales on Long Island.
On Friday, Oct. 6, Nassau County Police arrested the following people, all Island Park residents:
Robert Stockdale, age 38;
Christine Lyons, age 40;
Joseph Zimatore, age 58.

A man who allegedly drove under the influence of cocaine, causing a Long Island crash that killed four family members faces up to 25 years behind bars if he’s convicted, authorities announced.
On Wednesday, Sept. 20, Michael DeAngelo, age 32 of Lindenhurst, was arraigned on multiple charges related to the wreck, including vehicular homicide, for the August 2023 crash in Massapequa, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.

Man On Cocaine, Fentanyl Drove 120 MPH During Long Island Crash That Killed Dad, Kids: Police
The man responsible for a triple-fatal crash on Long Island has been identified and faces multiple charges, police announced.
On Friday, Aug. 11, Nassau County Police announced that Michael Deangelo, age 32, was arrested in connection to a Massapequa car crash that killed three members of the same family.
Deangelo, who is from Lindenhurst, was reportedly driving under the influence of cocaine and fentanyl on Sunday, Aug. 6 on Sunrise Highway when he hit three other cars at approximately 7:20 p.m.
One second prior to the impact, he was traveling 120.55 miles per hour.

Traffic Stop Turned Jail Time: Lindenhurst Man Sentenced For Cocaine, Heroin Possession
What began as a normal traffic stop has now landed a Long Island man behind bars for a decade.
Lindenhurst resident David Marmol, aged 41, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday, July 11 for his possession of a number of illicit substances, as well as a metal knuckle knife, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney.
On February 20, 2021, Marmol was pulled over in what was originally a routine traffic stop in the vicinity of South Fifth Street and Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst.

Among the trove of illegal drugs and cash that were allegedly confiscated from a Long Island business was over one thousand gallons of a liquid commonly known as the “date rape drug,” prosecutors allege.
Matthew Leshinsky, age 23, of Levittown, was indicted on over a dozen drug charges in Suffolk County Court on Monday, July 3, following a raid on his business, Quantitative Laboratories, in Ronkonkoma.

A Long Island man has been arrested and charged after his puppies were found to have ingested cocaine and fentanyl, officials reported.
Port Jefferson Station resident Adam Dziomba, aged 53, was arrested on Friday, June 16 for animal cruelty charges, detectives with the Suffolk County SPCA announced.
SPCA officers responded to a local animal hospital to find that Dziomba’s two chihuahua puppies, Freddy and Tonto, were suffering symptoms of a cocaine overdose.
The puppies are both 15 weeks old.
Narcan was given to the dogs to reverse the overdoses, as cocaine can be lethal to dogs.

A Long Island man has been convicted of possessing a loaded illegal loaded gun and drugs after a noise complaint turned into a foot chase, authorities said.
Joe Nunez, aged 34, of Copiague, was found guilty by jury trial of felony charges that originated from an unrelated noise complaint, the Suffolk County District Attorney announced.

Sean Mohan, age 49, of Central Islip, was sentenced to eight years in prison in Suffolk County Court on Monday, March 6. It followed his jury conviction on felony and misdemeanor drug charges in November 2022.

Benito Bello, from Lawrence, Massachusetts, who also goes by the name Zuriel Ayala Rodriguez, was arrested in the Bronx on Wednesday, Aug. 10, the DEA said.

Two people have been arrested for alleged possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia following a warrant search on Long Island.
