Man Breaks Into Four Long Island Businesses, Walks Away With Cash Registers, Police Say Police are investigating a series of Long Island burglaries in which a man stole cash registers from four businesses. According to detectives, an unknown man used a flower pot to break the front door’s glass at the Pizza Hut in Westbury at 61 Old Country Road around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 29. The man then entered and removed a cash register containing an undisclosed amount of cash, Nassau County Police said.
