Police arrested a man on Long Island after he allegedly hid in a garbage can and tried to kidnap a woman outside of her place of work. It happened in Rockville Centre on Wednesday, April 3, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 6 a.m. that day, 56-year-old Isaac Diaz Tollinchi was hiding in a garbage pail while his victim, a 48-year-old woman, walked towards her place of employment. Police on Long Island are searching for a man in a pickup truck after he allegedly motioned for children to come to him in a parking lot. The incident took place around 6:10 p.m., Monday, April 19, in the Stop & Shop parking lot in Oceanside, said the Nassau County Police. Police are investigating after a female passenger allegedly tried to lure a teenage girl into a car on Long Island. A suspect has been apprehended for the attempted alleged abduction of a 13-year-old girl in Uniondale, Nassau County Police announced on Thursday morning, July 4.
