Man Threatened To Kill Residents Of Long Island Home After Attempted Burglary, Police Say A 21-year-old was apprehended after police say he attempted to burglarize a Long Island home and then threatened to kill the residents. Teen Riding Dirt Bike Killed In Crash With Jeep In Suffolk County A teenager riding a dirt bike was killed in a crash with a Jeep overnight on Long Island. The crash happened around 9:07 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at the intersection of Crooked Hill Road and Wicks Road in Brentwood, Suffolk County Police said. Anthony Ayala, 19, of Brentwood was operating the 2018 KTM dirt bike southbound on Wicks Road when he collided with the 2016 Jeep Renegade which was traveling northbound on Crooked Hill Road, according to police.
