Nassau County Man Accused Of Drag Racing In Suffolk County
Police report a Long Island man was nabbed for drag racing in an incident over the weekend.
Zain Javaid, 23, of Farmingdale, was arrested around 2:40 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, after officers observed him driving a 2013 Audi AS4 westbound at a high rate of speed while racing another vehicle at the intersection of Allen and Adams Boulevards, in East Farmingdale, said the Suffolk County Police.
Javaid was stopped by an undercover drag racing officers, in response to numerous community complaints, the department said.
