Police investigators have issued an alert for a wanted Long Island man who was charged with third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury. He later failed to appear for court proceedings and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Investigators described Roy Braithwaite, 30, as 6-foot-1 weighing approximately 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, Nassau County Police said. Anyone who comes into contact with him has been cautioned by police not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
Anyone with information regarding Braithwaite's whereabouts, or who recognizes him has been asked to call 911 or contact the Nassau County Police Department by calling (516) 573-7524.
