Nassau County Police detectives responded to an alarm activation at M&R Hotel Management on Water Mill Lane in Great Neck shortly before midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Upon arrival, officers found a shattered front glass window, police said.
The search of the building was conducted, and Great Neck resident Michael Condori, was located attempting to hide inside the building. He was placed under arrest without incident and hospitalized for a deep laceration on his left hand.
Further investigation into Condori found that he was also allegedly responsible for a burglary on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 12:10 a.m. at the Bagelman store on Great Neck Road.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the Bagelman robbery, police said.
Condori was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary.
He was held overnight and scheduled to appear in First District Court in Hempstead for arraignment on Thursday, Feb. 27.
