$50K Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Bay Shore Convenience Store

It probably wasn’t the jackpot they were hoping for, but a lucky Powerball player still made out alright with a ticket purchased on Long Island.

A third prize-winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Bay Shore, at the 7-Eleven located at 640 Pine Aire Drive, New York Lottery said.

The fortuitous ticket was purchased for the drawing held Wednesday night, April 3.

Nobody won the big jackpot, so the next drawing on Saturday, April 6, will be for an estimated $1.23 billion.

Players can check the status of their ticket on the New York Lottery website.
