Purdys Train Station Gets New Elevator, Accessibility Upgrades
A Metro-North station in Northern Westchester is the latest to receive accessibility improvements, including an all-new elevator. The improvements, which were made to the Purdys Metro-North Station in North Salem, were announced by the MTA on Thursday, Feb. 22. As ridership continues to plummet to historic lows amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the MTA announced it will once again be altering the schedule for Metro-North trains.
