Drunk Driver Blows Through Stop Signs In Westchester, Changes Story, Police Say A motorist who was drinking and driving couldn’t keep his story straight when busted by police driving the wrong way on a one-way road in front of a Westchester elementary school. An officer on patrol in Scarsdale spotted a Mitsubishi Eclipse turn right from Post Road onto Huntington Avenue at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8. He proceeded to drive the wrong way on the one-way portion of Huntington Avenue in front of the Greenacres School and then failed to stop at a pair of stop signs in the area.
