Driver Nabbed After Police Pursuit, Crash In Region A 33-year-old Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly taking New York State Police on a pursuit, ending in a crash with damage to a police car. Dutchess County resident Christopher Melvin, age 33, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested in Orange County on Tuesday, June 11, in the town of Newburgh after crashing into a police vehicle.
