East Fishkill Police Department officer Daniel P. DiDato, age 47, was traveling to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla to continue an investigation with an accident victim when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree. Drought Watch Remains In Effect For These NY Counties Drought conditions have improved in New York State since the summer but a drought watch remains in effect in seven counties.
