Have You Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing Capital Region Woman Police are asking for help in locating a woman from the region who was reported missing. Rensselaer County resident Terry Bass, age 40, was last seen in the Lansingburgh area, according to Troy Police. Detectives did not say when she was last seen or provide a specific location in Lansingburgh. Bass is 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. 16-Year-Old, Second Suspect Nabbed After Robbery, Police Chase In Capital Region Two suspects, including a 16-year-old boy, are behind bars after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint in the region. Police in Rensselaer County were called at around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, for a robbery in Troy’s Lansingburgh neighborhood, near 5th Avenue and 112th Street. The 57-year-old victim told officers that the suspects stole prescription pills from him, according to Troy Police. The man was not injured during the ordeal. Resident Purposely Sets Fire To Capital Region Home Near Cemetery, Police Say A 66-year-old man is accused of intentionally setting fire to his home in the region. Emergency crews in Rensselaer County were called at around 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, for a house fire in Troy’s Lansingburgh neighborhood, on 3rd Avenue near 106th Street. The home backs up to the Old Catholic Cemetery. When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames, according to Troy Police. Crews spent several hours dousing the fire. Nobody was injured in the blaze. After speaking with the sole resident, Blaise Lanni, investigators determined that he purposely started the fire. …
