Woman's Body Found Floating In Hudson River A woman's body was discovered floating in the Hudson River. The unidentified woman was found in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Monday, April 10 near the Mid-Hudson Bridge and the city of Poughkeepsie. Sheriff's deputies responded to the area after receiving a report of a possible body in the river near the Mid-Hudson Bridge, said Capt. John Watterson, of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Employee Had Sexual Contact With Student At School In Upstate NY, Police Say An employee at a school district in the Hudson Valley has been charged with allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile student. Dutchess County resident Angela N. Hill, age 23 of Pawling, was arrested on Thursday, March 2 following an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile student in the Pawling Central School District, said Capt. Two Killed In Crash In Region, Police Say Two people were killed during a Hudson Valley crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21 at the intersection of Overlook Road and Keith Drive in LaGrange. The victims have not been identified pending notification of next of kin, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
