Police Responding To Shooting In Capital Region Find Male Victim Lying In Street (Developing)
Police are investigating after a man was found shot in the Capital Region Wednesday, Nov. 23. Schenectady Police were called at around 12:30 p.m. with reports of shots fired near Odell Street and Brandywine Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a male victim lying in the street, police said. Investigators did not immediately provide an update on the man’s condition, but the Albany Times Union reports the victim died from his injuries and was seen covered in a white sheet. Person Struck By Car, Killed In Capital District
A person has died after being struck by a car in the Capital District. The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Schenectady, near State and Spruce streets, police said. When officers arrived, they found a female pedestrian lying in the street. She was treated by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and transported to Ellis Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 10 p.m., police said.
