Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For String Of Burglaries In Multiple States, Police Say A New York man driving a truck with a stolen license plate wanted for its involvement in numerous alleged burglaries in surrounding states was nabbed after a short chase in Connecticut. Hudson Valley resident Michael Simpson, age 40, of Walden in Orange County, was spotted by police in Fairfield County on Thursday, Nov. 30.  At approximately 8:30 a.m., an officer in Trumbull located the wanted Dodge Ram pick-up, driven by Simpson, traveling north on Daniels Farm Road. Driver Crashes Into School District Administration Building In Hudson Valley An area driver was injured after crashing into a school district building and then a telephone pole.  The incident took place in Ulster County around 1:15 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, on Route 208 in the town of Shawangunk. Ulster County Sheriff's deputies on patrol watched as a driver hit the Wallkill Central School District Administration building on Route 208 in the hamlet of Wallkill and then attempt to leave the area, said Sgt.
