Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train In Hudson Valley
A person was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train overnight in the region. Woman's Body Found In Wooded Area In Hudson Valley
Police are investigating after the body of a Black woman was found in a wooded area in the Hudson Valley. The woman's body was found in Rockland County on Wednesday, April 3, in the area of the baseball field on Dutch Lane in the village of Spring Valley. Spring Valley Police said the woman is about 60 years years old but did not provide details on how the woman, who has not yet been identified, died or where. Car Wash Crash: Person Hit, Pinned Between 2 Vehicles In Hudson Valley, Police Say
This story has been updated. A person was injured and flown to an area hospital after being pinned between two vehicles at a Hudson Valley car wash. The incident took place in Orange County around 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, in the village of Chester at the Hambletonian Auto Spa at 1 Bryle Place. The person was hit when the driver of one of the vehicles being worked on backed and hit the person, pinning them, said the village of Chester Police. Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train
This story has been updated with corrected information from authorities. A person was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, in Dutchess County approximately half a mile south of the Pawling station, said MTA officials. The victim, now identified as a 36-year-old man from Pawling. was pronounced dead at the scene, they added. Updated story: Missing Wilton Man Found Dead Original report: A 53-year-old man has gone missing in Fairfield County and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. A Silver Alert has been issued following the disappearance of Todd Davies. Davies was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Wilton Center. He's described as being 6-foot-3, 185 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes, wearing sweatpants and other unknown clothing. Person Struck, Killed By Metro-North New Haven Line Train
A 50-year-old man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train Thursday night near Darien. According to Metro-North officials, the incident took place around 7:35 p.m. Dec. 13 at Noroton Heights. The train had departed Grand Central at 6:49 p.m. headed for New Haven. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identification is pending notification of next of kin. Davis Alejandro Tapia, a native of Sleepy Hollow and resident of Ossining, died on Saturday, Nov. 17. He was 17. He was born in Sleepy Hollow on June 26, 2001 and is the son of Segundo and Elvia Tapia. Davis was a senior at Ossining High School and a communicant of St. Ann’s Church, in Ossining.
