A school district in Westchester is about to officially approve its next superintendent. The New Rochelle Board of Education is expected to approve a three-year contract with Corey Reynolds effective on Saturday, July 1 during their meeting on Tuesday night, March 14 beginning at 7 p.m., the city's school district announced. Westchester Alternative High School To Transfer To College Campus
An alternative high school in Westchester will have a new home that will accommodate more students in a larger space thanks to a deal with an area college. The New Rochelle Board of Education announced at its meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19 that it has approved the relocation of the Huguenot Academy to space leased at Monroe College’s campus in the city. After being the only Westchester County school district to have its budget rejected earlier this month, the New Rochelle Board of Education has drafted a new budget that stays within the state-mandated tax cap.
