Tina Yu Wilson was named the new principal of Rye Neck High School by the Rye Neck School Board of Education. Her first day is July 1. She previously was assistant principal at Hendrick Hudson High School for three years.
“I am pleased to have Wilson join us as principal,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Barbara Ferraro said. “She is an experienced and highly effective administrator. Her leadership will quickly prove to be an asset to Rye Neck High School.”
During her tenure at Hendrick Hudson High School, Wilson served as supervising administrator for the mathematics and science departments, co-facilitated the school’s implementation of the Teaching is the Core initiative through BOCES, and served as district delegate for Project Lead the Way programs in biomedical sciences, engineering, and computer science.
Wilson is currently working toward her doctoral degree in education from Manhattanville College.
